I was prompted to write this post concerning the unpublicized work that’s being performed at 427-457 Cummins Highway after reading a post on Universal Hub tonight entitled: “What’s Up with Oak Lawn Golf Range in Hyde Park?” I recently listed a single family property at 109 Pleasantview Street, Roslindale that abuts the Oak Lawn Golf Range on Google Maps so I got curious while taking some exterior pictures and decided to take a walk over the berm behind the property and came upon a giant earth moving project so I whipped out my trusty iPhone 5s and made a quick video.
I wasn’t even going to post the video to YouTube, I actually filmed the video on Tuesday, but I only decided to post it tonight after coming across Universal Hub’s blog post; Universal Hub does a nice job of uncovering good stories that The Boston Globe or the Boston Herald don’t.
My feeling is that the owner of the property is preparing it for a large residential subdivision. And why wouldn’t the owner do that? The real estate market in Boston is red-hot and it’s time to capitalize. I just ask that the owner lists it with me since I work with a bunch of the city’s most successful developers because I can talk their language better than other real estate brokers since I have more building credentials than most real estate brokers which includes having an unrestricted Commonwealth of Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s license.
